Graduate School Application Advisor

Similar to my work with high school students applying to undergraduate programs, I work with undergraduate students, working adults, military personnel, and those out of the workforce applying to graduate programs.

Together, we take a comparable approach to the Personal Statement, as outlined in the “Personal Essay” tab on the top menu, with additional pragmatic elements.

I will coach you on presenting concrete evidence of your future role as a graduate student and insight into you as a person. Your essay will display your communication skills and discuss your ability to maximize effective collaboration with a diverse cross-section of the academic community. We’ll work to include information that gives reviewers a sense of why you belong in their specific program.

You will underscore experiences that show your promise, initiative, and/or ability to persevere despite obstacles. If one part of your academic record is not ideal due to challenges you faced, I will coach you to address that and direct reviewers’ attention to the evidence of your promise as a graduate student.

Leadership examples and research interests will be highlighted.

I’ve worked with students who have gained entrance to graduate programs in medicine, law, business, occupational therapy, social work, psychology, and speech-language pathology.

Please see the “Results” button on the top menu to review the colleges to which my graduate student clients received admittance.
